This Article describes how to sign the standard mutual Non-Disclosure agreement (NDA) included on the platform.
Within any io.insure M&A Project, maintaining confidentiality and the protection of your data is of the utmost importance.
Therefore, all parties to the io.insure M&A Insurance process are required to execute the standard mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
The io.insure platform leverages e-signing via tight integration with DocuSign, the global leader in electronic signature.
Whether you have just created your own M&A Project, or have been invited to an existing M&A Project in any capacity, the very next step will be executing the standard mutual NDA.
1. Getting to the NDA
If you are already at the NDA stage, please skip to 2; otherwise, select if you have been invited to an M&A Project or are Creating a New one.
1.1. First-time (invited) users:
You will be automatically directed to the NDA page as the last part of the account creation process (see How do I Sign-Up? - E-mail Invite Method)
1.2. Existing (invited) users:
You have 2 options to Get started and sign the NDA:
1.2.a. Within the e-mail invitation you received, Click on the "Get Started" link.
1.2.b. Go to au.app.io.insure, log in, and click on the Project Tile in the dashboard for the new Project you have been invited to.
Hint1: The Tile for any project where at least 1 member is missing or hasn't signed the NDA will be black.
Hint2: The default sorting by creation date may place that tile in the upper-left corner of the Dashboard.
1.3. First-time (Signing Up) users:

The next step is to Create a New Project, see:
You will be automatically directed to the NDA page as the last part of the project creation process.
The immediate step upon clicking on "Create Project" in the New Project workflow is to sign the NDA. Any users invited to the project will see the same page upon logging in.

Any and all of the above steps will initiate the NDA signing process. If you were redirected here from another article, keep on scrolling.
2. Signing the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Upon redirection, the NDA document will be generated in a few seconds.
2.1. From here, please view and/or download the NDA, by clicking the associated icons
2.2. Click "Sign NDA"
2.3. If this is your first NDA in the system, enter your information; if not, please skip to Step 2.5.
Please Enter Company Name, Address, City, Country, ABN verify your Name, and Select your Title.
2.4. Click Save
2.5. Confirm your displayed information is correct.
If your information is incorrect, click on the pencil icon to modify it. This will bring you back to Step 2.3.
Alternatively, If you wish to sign on behalf of a different company, click "Add Signature Details". This will also bring you back to Step 2.3.
2.6. Review disclaimer and acknowledgement
Please note that by signing the document with an electronic signature, you agree that such signature will be valid as handwritten signatures to the extent allowed by local law.
Please acknowledge having read and understood the NDA if such is applicable.
2.7. Click Confirm - You will be redirected to DocuSign
3. DocuSign electronic signing
The io.insure platform leverages e-signing via tight integration with DocuSign, the global leader in electronic signature. The following steps will help you navigate the DocuSign site where the documents can be digitally executed.
3.1 Please read and agree to the Electronic and Signature Disclosure.
3.2. Scroll to the bottom of the document, and locate the signature button (upper-left area).
3.3. Drag the Signature to the bottom of the document.
3.4. Signature options
Please confirm and adopt your signature.
There are 3 options for such:
3.4.a. System-Generated (default)
Please make sure your name and initials are correct
Optionally, select "Change Style" to change the visual representation of the signature to your liking.
This requires a touch-screen, a pen, or above average mouse dexterity - Draw your own signature:
Use this option to upload a signature file image:
Click Adopt and Sign
3.5. Click Finish
Congratulations, you have executed the NDA.
From here, you will be redirected back to the application.
