Stage 2: Quote Pack - Filling Forms of a Mio© M&A Project on the platform.
The Seller and the Buyer, with the assistance of their Advisors, fill out, review and sign these online questionnaires and upload key documents / information.
For information on information uploads or filling forms, please see previous articles, by clicking on the navigational arrow to the left of the above progress bar.
In this article we will be describing here the process for the submission, review and signature of the provided information to underwriting for your quotes to be generated.
The Review Process involves the Seller and Seller's principal advisor and/or the Buyer and Buyer's principal advisor.
The underlying workflow is comprised of the following steps, for each respective side:
1. Submit the forms to your principal advisor
3DF©: The Buyer submits the form for Review to their principal advisor.
2DF©: The Seller submits the form for Review to their principal advisor.
2. Your principal advisor reviews the information, and either:
A. All OK - Sends the reviewed forms back to you for signing (go to 3.)
B. Changes Required - Returns to you for editing (back to 1.)
3. Once All OK, you may sign the forms via Docusign.
This Completes the signing process. Your project will now be moved to "In Underwriting" status.

As M&A Transactions have 2 sides, there are also 2 types of Policies Mio© can cover: Buyer-Side Policies and Seller-Side Policies.
The requirements and options within these 2 types of Policies will differ.
We identify Buyer-side Policies as Policies where the insured is the buyer, or on the Buyer-side of the transaction, and Seller-Side Policies as Policies where the insured is the seller, or on the seller-side of the Transaction. Even if you may be the Seller, or on the Seller-Side of the transaction, the Project as io.insure sees it may be for a Buyer-side Policy. This is because Mio© Buyer-side policies involve the Buyer-side and the Seller-side, whereas Mio© Seller-Side Policies only involve the Seller-side.
Please select below whether you are acting within the Buyer-side or Seller-side of your policy.

1. Step 1 - Buyer - How to Send to review to your Principal Advisor:

3. Step 3 - Buyer - Sign
Click the sign button
Follow the steps depicted in the Mio©: How do I sign an NDA?, as the process from the Confirmation point is identical.
This Completes the signing process. Your project will now be moved to "In Underwriting" status.
